Brass Band Exhibition KWB "Konin" at the museum
In January 2010, the District Museum in Konin opened a permanent exhibition dedicated to coal mining and salt in our region. The ambition of the museum is to present all the issues related to mining, which has a centuries-old tradition, colored a rich ceremonial and customs.
November 19, 2011, noon. 12.00 in the District Museum in Konin held the grand opening exhibition dedicated to the brass band KWB "Konin" SA in Kleczew Isabella Commissioner of the exhibition is arranged by Lorek and Lucy Umerle - Boulder.
The exhibition will present dozens of years of history and great achievements of the orchestra mining. The exhibition, which was created in collaboration with Wojciech Jankowski (orchestra conductor), Grazyna Lawniczak (president of the orchestra) and Margaret Szuman-Mustard (Head of Department at the Museum of Decorative Arts), you can see historic photographs illustrating the countless concerts, participate in important cultural events, public and religious. In addition, a number of trophies will be presented, showing the successes they enjoyed the band competitions and tournaments in many regions of the Polish and European.
Today, Brass Band KWB "Konin" is a team of professional musicians led by conductor, artistic director Wojciech Jankowski's team. The high level of performance that represent musicians under the baton of conductor of the orchestra and the organization over which the orchestra's president watches Grazyna Ławniczak arouse admiration and appreciation of each society. The host of the orchestra, taking care of the proper functioning of the technical team are Mariusz Kazmierczak.
