Concert in the Zielona Góra Philharmonic

sieniawa3.jpg May 28, 2010 KWB Konin Brass Band played a concert at the Philharmonic of Zielona Góra. Orchestra from Konin was honored in this way 60th - Anniversary of the Brown Coal Mine in Sieniawa (lubuskie province).

28 May in Zielona Gora Philharmonic Orchestra we took part in a ceremony and concert, which was initiated on the song "Mazur" from the opera "The Haunted Manor" St. Moniuszko. Among the new and ambitious works also included: "DIE ten GEBOTE" E. Bernstein and couplets BARINKAYA from the operetta "The Gypsy Baron" by J. Strauss. Concert conducted by Andrew Majewski - President Konin Music Society.

Next to Mine Brass Band titled "Konin" conducted by Wojciech Jankowski also performed solo artists of the Grand Theatre in Lodz: Justin Krzeszowska (soprano), Krzysztof Marciniak (tenor) and Raphael Pikała (bass). Artists boldly sang arias from operettas and musicals. His artistry as soloists, the orchestra presented a mining Grazyna Lawniczak (flute), Matthew nail (trumpet), Mariusz Kazmierczak (trombone), Paul Andrews, Mariusz Stawicki and Peter Piechocki - percussion. The beautiful voices of the soloists and orchestra concert of mine made at the highest level, have been rewarded with thunderous applause and a standing ovation.

Wojciech Jankowski - mine mining community "Konin" with the President, Dr. Slawomir Mazurek can be proud of its orchestra. The high craftsmanship and artistry of the team were very highly rated by students and Sieniawa Green Mountains. Standing ovation and an encore on the acoustic and the beautiful hall of the Philharmonic of Zielona Góra was the deepest expression.

May 29th was another day of celebrations KWB Siena. On that day the band presented itself miners marching in formation, visit the mining town such as: Lubrza, beech and Siena, where the football stadium "browning Sieniawa" played a short concert. The high level of artistic and organizational orchestra arouses our admiration and appreciation of the audience for which the team performs.
